Beauty in the cliff. Varkala! Had heard of this place a million times but never knew it will be the one this time.Yet another solo trip.Landed smoothly by 12:30 PM in Tiruvanathapuram which is the nearest airport to Varkala.Had my lunch in a local hotel and took a bus to Varkala bus stand. From there, headed towards my cozy cute Tickety boo hotel room in an auto. The host was super friendly. He was from North India and had a passion to run business and so was in Varkala hiring a property and hosting tourists in his place. I had a great time playing with his kids too. I spent all three days strolling in the cliff and making short notes on life. Off course the food in the cafes which I walked in like Café Italiano, Darjeeling café, Little Tibet, Abba restaurant was extraordinary. I also met a super cool guy from Andhra and we gelled quite well discussing about our travel journeys. Evenings spent in the sea shore was worth every second.Not to miss the sunset too. This was a complete break from office, home and any other outdoor activities. So just relaxed with good food and beach walk for 3 full days. Returned back with totally relaxed mindset.Such breaks are an very much essential to get away from the daily hustle bustle life.
