Galibore Nature Camp Feb 26-27th 2021

Being a mother isn’t easy and with huge ups and downs in the daily schedules, we finally made up our mind to take a break with our 9 month old  Utthaan. It was his first trip as well.So what better than hanging out in the nature’s lap.I somehow came across jungle resorts by the government and tried my hands browsing about it. My fingers landed into this beautiful Galibore Nature Camp which is in Kanakpura taluk in Bangalore Rural district near the banks of Kaveri river. We(Myself,Bharath and Utthaan )headed out by 10 AM in the morning while having breakfast on the way.Guess what, we also carried a pressure cooker with raw rice and dal for our son. After checking in , sumptuous lunch was awaiting Golghar(Round house) , I mean the dining area .

We rested for a while in our beautiful tent and had a tiny walk in the forest. Coracle boat ride was also arranged in the evening but we missed it due to our son’s schedule.Never the less, lazing around the river bank with short walks made our day.Camp fire was lit late evening with pakodas, tea & coffee to snack on.Utthaan enjoyed watching the river and monkeys around. It was getting colder, so we moved back to our room. Dinner was served while watching a wildlife movie. The staff were kind and generous to cook in our own pressure cooker for our son.It was a beautiful day all together.

We woke up a little late and couldn’t catch up on the trek which was also organised by the staff and was a part of the itinerary. We managed to play around with the sports kit provided with our son while having breakfast and checked out to reach Bangalore by 1 PM.The nature camps are quite relaxing and refreshing as there is hardly any network and disconnecting ourselves to daily chores fuels our body and soul. Would definitely suggest to friends and family and wanting to visit again to many more nature camps in future.
